URGENT: Objections to proposed development in 145 Clovelly Road
The GRA was approached by several Greenside residents with concerns pertaining to the notice of application for the re-zoning of ERF656, Greenside from “Residential 1” (low density residential) to “Residential 3 (medium density residential).
On further investigation it was found that a developer has bought the property at 145 Clovelly Road (ERF656) and the adjacent property at 266 Barry Hertzog Avenue (ERF634) with the intent of a single medium density development across the two properties that will include 8 double storey dwellings. The concerned residents were informed of the same, including that current zoning and land-use of the property in Barry Hertzog avenue does allow for the intended development, whereas the zoning of the property in Clovelly Road does not.
All Greenside residents and/or other affected parties who wish to object to the application for re-zoning and proposed development of ERF656, Greenside, please following the below steps before the deadline of 21st November 2016 if dropping off at one of the GRA collection points or 22nd November 2016 if submitting directly.

Submit your objection by
1.) Delivering the signed objection form to one of the following “drop-off points” in Greenside by 21st November 2016 12PM (noon): 140 Clovelly Road, or 143 Clovelly Road. We will collate all objections received and make the necessary submissions to the CoJ Dept of Development Planning and the agent of the developer on your behalf, or
2.) Submitting directly to the CoJ Dept of Development Planning by 22nd November 2016 COB by:
